In order to enable comprehensive statistical assessments, screen templates and printouts must be individually designed. In this way, the results can be displayed in a way the user can readily understand, enabling efficient assessments. With the Form Designer, it’s easy to modify existing reports and input screens to support inspection plans, or to create new reports and templates. Various elements such as text, statistics, database texts, parts data, characteristics data, supplementary data, charts (qs-STAT charts and image files in BMP, JPG, EMF or WMF format), links and linking symbols can be selected from a tool box and readily placed by ‘drag and drop’ in the desired places in the report.
The Screen Designer enables individual tailoring or design of input screens (part, characteristic and value screens). The standard input screens supplied only represent suggestions based on our experience.
However, many customers have individually defined inspection plan data (K fields) that enable precise identification of the data. With the aid of this Designer, it is possible to tailor input screens to the precise needs of the customer. Any K field in the Q-DAS ASCII transfer format can be selected. Some of these support direct links to predefined catalogues, for simple and convenient input by the customer. Individual formatting is also feasible, for example to support special marking of mandatory fields.
